What are PDF licences?
When you choose to download a PDF version of a Standard you are buying a licence to access that Standard. This licence sets out the rights and obligations of purchasers.
What is a personal user licence?
Personal user licences are designed to meet the usage needs of individuals as opposed to organisation-wide use. You can choose to licence up to three personal user licences, making your selection from the pull-down menu in Step 1 select pdf licence. This allows you to install the one downloaded file on up to three separate computers or print three hard copies of the report for use by three different individuals, depending on the number of licences purchased. Multiple organisational user licensing is also available for all downloadable final reports (see below).
What is an organisational user licence?
When purchasing and downloading Standards you can choose to buy multiple organisational licences. This option can be easily selected from the pull-down menu in Step 1 select pdf licence. Organisational user licences are sold on a concurrent user basis, and are available in a range of usage bands so you can choose the most appropriate level of concurrent user coverage for your organisation. This allows you to install a single downloaded file and make this available to a range of concurrent users within your organisation or print the number of hard copies of the report for internal use according to the usage band purchased. For example if you purchase an organisational licence for 6-10 users, this means that 6-10 users can access the file on your network and you can print a maximum of 10 hard copies of the report for internal use only. This means that the maximum number of people able to access the Standard at any one time is limited to the number of licences purchased.
How do I get a copy of the licence agreement?
A copy of your licence agreement is automatically attached to the front of your final report pdf file.
