| an FRDC Research Subprogram |

![]() ![]() For Current ResearchersExperimental Preschedules To ensure all planned research is industry focused and the science is of a high standard, the subprogram leader requires researchers to submit comprehensive experimental preschedules prior to the commencement of all experiments. The steering committee will assess the work for its commercial applicability and scientific rigor. External expertise may be sought to provide comment in some instances. For further information on the procedure followed by the subprogram when managing projects go to research and development Outcomes Management within this site. The format for submitting experimental preschedules can be downloaded here.
Progress/Milestone Reports Progress Reports must be written in accordance with the FRDC format as described in their website. Direct links to the site are provided below. Guide to Project Reporting:
The subprogram is currently revising its requirements for milestone reporting. We plan to require researchers to expand on the content of the reports so that much of its can be used to compile the final report. Thus alleviating the great workload associated with compiling final reports. Download the instructions on the subprograms reporting requirements here. The FRDC requires all progress reports to be sent to the subprogram leader for assessment of progress. Researchers should ensure that their institutions forward a copy to the leader. The steering committee will then provide comment and monitor the work for commercial applicability. Once approved, the subprogram leader will inform the FRDC that approval has been given and payment can be made. Final Reports The final report must be written in accordance with the FRDC format as described in their website. A direct link to the FRDCs instruction on how to write and submit final reports is provided here However draft final reports must be sent to the subprogram leader, not to the FRDC. The FRDC requires all final reports to be assessed prior to submission to the FRDC. It is not necessary to have the draft final copy bound. An appropriate reviewer, if deemed necessary will assess the report. Once approved by the subprogram, the draft final report will be sent to the FRDC to check on formatting. All comments will be addressed by the researcher and will submit the final report directly to the FRDC according to their instructions.
