Annual Workshop
Workshops
The subprogram has held nine workshops since its beginnings in 1993. The aim of the workshop is primarily to communicate the past year’s research finding to industry so that transfer of results is rapid and effective. The workshops have been well attended as they provide a rare chance for industry members to meet with each other and discuss progress and problems. Generally there is a tour of farms organised as part of the meeting.

Forthcoming Workshop
The annual meeting of the 10th Abalone Aquaculture Workshop of the Abalone Aquaculture Subprogram will be held from Wednesday 19th to Friday 21st November 2003 at the Hilton Hotel, Port Lincoln, South Australia. A cryopreservation of sperm workshop will be held at the SA research and development Institute, Adelaide on Tuesday 18th November. A brief itinerary follows:
18th November: Cryopreservation workshop at SA research and development Institute, Adelaide
19th November: Farm tours in Port Lincoln
20-21st November: Workshop presentations at Hilton Motel, Port Lincoln
