Public consultation is a key part of the fish names procedures. The Fish Names Committee places great importance on the feedback received from stakeholders when making a final decision on these applications.

Public Consultation on the Australian Standard for Aquatic Plant Names is completed

Public consultation is a key part of the standards development process and was an integral step in the development of AS 5301 2020 The Australian Standard for Aquatic Plant Names.
