After two years as the National Carp Control Plan Program Manager, Matt Barwick is leaving the role.

Mr Jamie Allnut will start as the National Carp Control Plan Program Manager from December.

Research projects for the National Carp Control Plan Program are underway and will be completed during 2019. Nineteen research institutions are working to deliver the research program.

The drafting of the National Carp Control Plan will be completed in during 2019 and given to the Government for consideration in December 2019.

The timetable for completing the research, public consultation and draft plan has been agreed between the FRDC and the Department of Agriculture and Water Resources.
