Summary

The main objectives of this project were to develop a purse seine fishery based on the Australian skipjack tuna resources, primarily to supply product to the cannery at Eden, and to develop a complementary purse seine fishery based on the jack mackerel resource off S.E. Australia, especially off N.S.W.
